Multi Rake Screens

Multi-rake screens and screening presses are mounted on the inlet structures of treatment plants and are used to retain solids in wastewater that will affect the treatment process and the operation of treatment equipment. The unit consists of a frame making an angle of approximately 70 degrees with the horizontal, two endlessly joined chains and rakes lined up on this pair of chains. Having multiple cleaning rakes instead of one minimizes the risk of clogging by providing efficient cleaning even at very small gaps such as 5 mm.
