Circular type screens  and screening presses are effective equipment used to remove solids from wastewater streams.

 Grids and sieving press  bars arranged in circular form are placed in the channel with the concave part facing the flow. Placing the rods tangentially to the channel bottom facilitates the movement of solids in the wastewater towards the screens and screening  presses.
