Rectangular Type Linear Scrapers

Sedimentation, which is an indispensable process of wastewater treatment, is sometimes carried out in rectangular tanks. In this case, the sludge that settles to the bottom must be scraped towards the mud cones located at the entrance of the settling tank. The scraper systems used for this purpose consist of a bridge scraping system that can move in two directions throughout the tank.

Accordingly, as the bridge moves from the tank entrance to the exit, the scraper blades are lifted and return empty. During the movement towards the mud cones, the mud blades are lowered to push the mud towards the cones. It is possible to program the scraper in various ways to achieve the desired performance depending on the solids load and character.
