Rotary Bridge Scrapers

Rotary Bridge Scrapers

Suspended solids in wastewater settle to the bottom in stagnant conditions. In order for this mud accumulated at the bottom to be removed regularly and appropriately, all of it must be collected at one point. Scrapers are equipment developed for this purpose and are indispensable elements of treatment plant sedimentation tanks. In half-bridge scrapers, the scraper bridge and bottom blades move continuously and convey the mud to the mud cone in the center of the tank. The foam and oils that will accumulate on the tank are conveyed to the foam collection trough through an arm that scrapes the tank surface. They are generally removed from the points where they collect in foam and mud by a pump.
