Wall Penstocks

Wall type penstocks are used to control flow and provide insulation in tank and pool structures in water and wastewater treatment plants.

Sealing is ensured by the use of P, V and double-lip type rubber gaskets on the four edges of the penstocks, and very small leakage values such as 0.4 liters/min are achieved for 1 m seal length (under 5 m on seat or 4 m off-seat pressure). Wall penstocks come in a wide range of sizes and are specially designed according to the opening to be closed and the pressure to which it will be exposed.
