Channel Penstocks

Control of the flow in channels in water and wastewater treatment plants is done with penstocks.

MASS's channel-mounted type penstocks are rectangular-shaped covers made of carbon steel or stainless steel to serve this purpose. Sealing is ensured by the use of P, V and double lip type rubber gaskets on three edges of the penstocks, and very small leakage values of 0.4 liters/min are achieved for 1 m gasket length. MASS also produces special penstocks with special designs for buildings and needs.
