Package Screen and Sand Removal Unit
This unit is a compact system developed to separate large substances, sand and oil from domestic and industrial wastewater. This system; It separates particles with high efficiency. It requires low maintenance and is easy to operate.
First, the wastewater passes through the screens and arrives in the sand separation tank. The wastes held by the screen are dewatered by the screen press combined with the screen and discharged through the discharge pipe. In the sand and oil section, sand settles to the bottom of the tank and oil moves to the surface of the tank. The settled sand is pushed towards the funnel at the bottom of the tank by the horizontal auger. In order to prevent organic matter from settling, wastewater is aerated and mixed with a blower-diffuser system. The sand accumulated in the hopper at the bottom of the tank is transferred by means of an angled conveyor, also ensuring partial dewatering. The oil accumulated on the surface of the degreasing section is removed from the oil section by a scraper or weir system.
