Washable Grill Press
The coarse and fine wastes held by the screens and screening presses still contain water, and it is desired to reduce their water content and thus reduce their volume by compaction. Washing grates and sieving presses were developed to ensure that the grating waste is dewatered by pressure and at the same time is washed and cleaned of organic matter.
In the grates and screening presses, the retained solid waste is carried by conveyor and poured directly from the chute to the grates and screening presses. The spiral in the screens and screening presses drags the screen waste towards the outlet. The required pressure at this time is provided by the weight and friction of the solids accumulated in the discharge pipe. Meanwhile, the filtered water passes through the drainage holes and pours into the drip pan and is discharged from there.
